Let’s forget about the fact that Tub of lard Phil Dowd decided to keep playing until Sunderland scored, a goal they no doubt deserved, but to add insult to injury, the FA have now charged the Emirates boss for a ‘push’ that wouldn’t have knocked a drunken 97 year old to the floor.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been charged by the Football Association with improper conduct at the end of the Gunners’ 1-1 draw at Sunderland.
Wenger appeared to confront fourth official Martin Atkinson after Darren Bent equalised for the Black Cats in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
Atkinson had earlier shown on his board that four minutes would be played.
Wenger has until 23 September to decide whether to accept the charge or face an FA regulatory commission.
The Arsenal boss has been offered the standard punishment of a one-match touchline ban and an £8,000 fine if he accepts it.
Speaking after Saturday’s draw at the Stadium of Light, he said: “If you have a watch, you can control. It’s as simple as that.

“It was outside the four minutes. I know the referee can give more than four, it’s a minimum of four minutes.
“But in the four minutes nothing happened to justify the extension of the time. But I cannot do anything about that.”
Wenger, 60, also denied that he had accosted Atkinson, stating: “I complain to nobody.” (BBC Sport)

So there you have it. Take a look at the footage below and tell me if you think it is justified. The game can heated on the touchline and you regularly see officials, coaches and managers argue with each other. It’s part and parcel of the game. Let me make it clear though. Arsenal were awful against Sunderland and we probably didn’t deserve to win the game but that makes no difference. Free the Wenger One!
