AC Milan star Alexandre Pato insists the only club he would leave the San Siro for is Barcelona.
The Brazilian striker has long been linked with a transfer to England, with speculation suggesting he could move next summer.
His former Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti – now at Chelsea – is a confirmed fan, but the most recent reports have suggested that Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City are ready to splash the cash.
But now Pato has insisted that he would target a move to Barcelona, if he did leave Milan.
“I am honoured by City’s interest, but I am a Milan player and I’m happy here,” Pato said.

So there you have it. AC Milan can’t be too happy with such a statement. Alexandre Pato has been linked with a move away from the San Siro for some time and a move to Man City was mentioned but it seems that in the process of turning down any potential move to Eastlands the young Brazilian decided it was a good time to point out that he would however love to move to Barcelona.
Pepe Guardiola will have taken note of this development and if they can get some cash together, because the Catalan side are reportedly heavily in debt, then they may well find room for the talented striker.
