Manchester City are preparing an audacious move for Barcelona youngster Bojan Krkic. Roberto Mancini is looking to add more youth to his expensively collected Eastlands squad and is hoping to lure the Nou Camp man to the club as he struggles to win a regular starting spot at the Catalan giants.
Now in his fourth season in the Barca first team Bojan has gained a cult like hero status among the club’s supporters but is still by no means a regular in Pepe Guardiola’s plans and has fallen down the pecking order following the emergence of Pedro and the acquisition of David Villa.
Bojan has always been something of a bit part player at the club and has waited patiently for a run in the starting eleven but it seems that he is no nearer to attaining that goal and may therefore be considering his options.
The Spanish international can play out wide but is most effective as part of a two man strike pairing and may feel that he needs to move on in order to continue his career progression in much the same way as the highly rated Mexican starlet Giovani did before making his way to Tottenham.
Guardiola would very much like to keep the talented youngster but may well not stand in his way if he wished to leave the club he has represented since the age of 9. A move for the youngster would not be cheap but clearly financing any bid would not be an issue for the mega rich club.
