Chelsea are rumoured to be interested in signing Barcelona starlet Bojan as Carlo Ancelotti looks to reverse his ageing Stamford Bridge side. The Spanish international is finding it hard to force his way into the Nou Camp first team picture but the Blues boss is ready to sign the 20 year old as he looks for long term alternatives to his current strike force.
With Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka both over 30 and with Daniel Sturridge yet to spark into life at the west London club a move for the talented Barca man would make a great deal of sense. Some may feel that the pint sized attacker would find it too much of a wrench to leave the club he has represented since the age of nine but given the lack of chances he is getting he may have no choice.
The likes of Pedro have jumped ahead of Bojan in the Barcelona pecking order and Pep Guardiola only picks the youngster if injuries or suspension force him into doing so. With the likes of David Villa and Leo Messi ahead of him there doesn’t seem much of a chance for the speedy starlet to stake his claim at the La Liga giants.
