Becks scored a nice goal in this one. Laid on by Everton bound (maybe) Landon Donovan and fired into the bottom corner by David Beckham. LA Galaxy are having a damn fine season and go into the post season as favourites to win the whole damn thing!

A good way to defuse the irksome issue of Emmanuel Adebayor coming up against his former club. Arsenal midfielder Alex Song steals Emmanuel Adebayor’s silly hat, whilst Samir Nasri distracts the Togo international with some small talk. Very amusing. The Eastlands striker didn’t appear to find it all that amusing, but perhaps that just makes this video all the more funny for Emirates fans.

Arsenal moved into second spot in the Premier League with this convincing win at Eastlands. The home side had Dedryck Boyata sent off after just five minutes as he brought down Marouane Chamakh and was deemed, rightly, to be the last man and was therefore red carded.
Samir Nasri scored soon after following a great one-two with Andrei Arshavin and though City broke a few times Lukasz Fabianski pulled off some smart saves to prevent Man City levelling. Cesc Fabregas had a chance to put the Emirates side two goals to the good but his spot kick was saved well by Joe Hart.
Mid way through the second half Alex Song smashed in from inside the box to give Arsene Wenger’s side an unassailable lead. As usual the Gunners were profligate in front of goal, attempting yet another pass instead of firing on goal but they were still in total control of the game and deserved all three points against a City side who were rapidly losing the midfield battle.
Sub Nicklas Bendtner scored a late third after yet more great work from Man of the Match Samir Nasri.

Roy Hodgson took some heat off his disastrous start to the season by guiding his side to a crucial win at home to Blackburn Rovers. Liverpool dominated the first half and put together their best display of the season but couldn’t find the back of the net until Sotiris Kyrgiakos netted early in the second half.
Jamie Carragher scored an unfortunate own goal but Fernando Torres scored soon afterwards to hand the Merseyside a much needed win that buys Hodgson a little more time in the Liverpool hot-seat.

Javier Hernandez scored a crucial brace to hand Manchester United all three points at the Britannia Stadium. Sir Alex Ferguson will have been pleased to see his side collect all three point and hopefully help vanquish the memory of a very difficult week of the pitch thanks to the whole Wayne Rooney saga.
The young Mexican had given the Old Trafford side the lead with a clever flicked header but they couldn’t get that vital second goal and sub Tuncay netted a great leveller to give Stoke City something to cheer about after a determined performance but Hernandez netted from six yards to secure all three points.

Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven annihilated Feyenoord to stretch their lead at the top of the table. Young Brazilian scored a hat-trick, Jeremain Lens and Balazs Dzsudzsak scored a brace apiece and Ibrahim Afellay and Ola Toivonen were also among the goals as Mario Been’s Feyenoord side fell apart after the early sending off of Kelvin Leerdam.
The win takes Fred Rutten’s side three points clear of Ajax and gives them a very handsome goal difference of +27 after ten games unbeaten.
Rangers came back from behind to claim a crucial Old Firm derby defeat at Parkhead and help stretch their 100% record to nine games. Gary Hooper had given Neil Lennon’s side the lead with a good finish from a corner, making it sixth goal in six.
However the visitors from Ibrox took over in the second half when Glen Loovens put into his own net and a brace from Kenny Miller took Walter Smith’s side into control. The goals meant that Kenny Miller has netted 13 goals in nine games.
The win puts Rangers three points clear at the top of the SPL table.
