Old Trafford new boy really doesn’t look the part does he?

Clearly this is a huge statement to make but it’s one that is made with a fair bit of thought and inward thinking, rather than just a mad assertion made in a knee-jerk manner. The player I am referring to, in case you hadn’t guessed, is Portuguese attacker Bebe.
Having watched the powerfully built youngster in action on a number of occasions in recent weeks I have kept expecting the 20 year old to at some stage appear to at least give a passable impression of a professional footballer, but it is yet to happen.
Everything about the player just screams a lack of ability at the highest level of English football. He appears to not be the most positionally adept footballers and has this habit of running with the ball with his head down and aiming to the corners of the pitch as opposed to looking for options ahead of him. Most bizarrely he just doesn’t actually look and play like a footballer. In fact he kind of looks and behaves much like a film star playing the part of a pro player but never quite getting it right.
Granted he has only taken part in approximately 199 minutes of football for the Old Trafford club but whenever he gets the ball I, and many others, are left bemused wondering how this player managed to find himself at arguably the biggest football club in the world.
Will Bebe prove himself? Has Sir Alex Ferguson made a big mistake in spending £7.4m on his services? Is he the worst Man United player ever or at the very least, of the Ferguson era?
