Everton boss is planning a January move for Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam as David Moyes aims to add more creativity to his Goodison Park midfield. The Scottish international has been in sparkling form for the Tangerines this season but even boss Ian Holloway has conceded that if a big side come in for the 24 year old they will be powerless to prevent the player from leaving.
The Toffees are likely to lose South African international Steven Pienaar and are hoping to bring in reinforcements to help provide ammunition for their strikers and Moyes is apparently a big fan of the former Rangers man and wants to bring him to Merseyside.
A move away from Bloomfield Road is all the more likely given a contract bonus dispute between the club and the talented midfielder that dates back to the club’s promotion to the top flight. It is believed Blackpool will be looking to net a fee in the region of £8m for a player who arrived at the club in a £500k deal in August 2009.
