ROBERTO MANCINI is set to cut his losses on Emmanuel Adebayor and offload the sulking striker to Juventus.
The Manchester City boss has grown tired of Adebayor’s behaviour and is desperate to get him out of Eastlands.
The Togo star is fed up with not being handed enough starts in Mancini’s side and wants out.
He has made his frustrations clear this season and has openly admitted he would love a move to Italy or Spain.
Now he is about to get his wish, with Mancini giving the green light for the former Arsenal star to link up with Juve on loan.
It is understood City are so keen to see the back of Adebayor that they are willing to sell him in a permanent deal next summer for around £12m. (Daily Star)
Whilst it is perhaps true that Emmanuel Adebayor hasn’t been a stellar success at Eastlands it would be unfair for anyone to believe he has failed in some way. His strike record of 19 goals from 35 starts is none too shabby and it seems that because Roberto Mancini has opted on the whole to play with one striker this has led to a lack of first team action for the former Arsenal man.
Juventus are looking to regenerate their side and made a number of big name signings in the summer and would happily sign the Togo international, but any sale would probably be for less than half of what Man City paid for the 26 year old.
