Arsene Wenger is reportedly considering making a move for former Liverpool and West Ham midfielder Javier Mascherano, who is currently languishing on the Barcelona bench after his big money move to the Nou Camp in the summer.
The tough tackling 26 year old is struggling to fight his way into Pep Guardiola’s first team plans and given the success the Catalan club is experiencing the Argentine may well wonder why he was so keen to flee Anfield for a move to the La Liga giants.
