Leonardo will sign Real Madrid star Kaka once he takes over from Rafael Benitez at Inter as negotiations continue regarding the Spanish coach’s contract rescission.
The former Milan coach feels Inter lack resources and policy, and he will re-establish the rules by whipping the squad into line.
Il Corriere dello Sport claims Kaka and Leonardo will force a Madrid exit in January after the move was sanctioned by Inter chiefs who, regardless of denials they had spoken with the coach, have been in talks to get him.
Kaka has only just returned to the Madrid squad after a long injury lay-off and his development may continue at San Siro.
Massimo Moratti is unlikely to approve a grandiose transfer scheme for January, thus it could set the move back to June. (Goal.com)
So this source believes that not only have Inter Milan brought in former AC coach Leonardo but that he will successfully bring Kaka from Real Madrid back to the San Siro, albeit for the arch rivals of the Brazilian’s former club?
Well part of this could well be true. Massimo Moratti refused to be drawn into the debate about whether Leonardo was indeed being lined up to replace hopeless manager Rafa Benitez but would Real Madrid be so quick to sell a player as talented as Kaka to a Champions League rival?
It is clear that Jose Mourinho will listen to offers for the 28 year old attacking midfielder, after all Kaka may struggle to get into the Real Madrid first team given the addition of the likes of Mesut Ozil and Angel Di Maria since the former AC Milan man has been sidelined on the treatment table.
Would Kaka be interested in a move to Inter? Would he be able to deal with the inevitable abuse he would receive at the hands of his former fans for making such a move?
