Take That Progress spent 7 weeks at the top of the UK album chart.
Rihanna has overtaken Take That at the top of the UK album chart with her latest record, Loud.
Take That’s album, Progress, made it an impressive seven weeks at the top of the UK album chart, after being confirmed as the fastest selling album of the century. Sales continue to soar after the band released their second single from the record, SOS.
It is the second major record that Take That have broken this year, after selling over 1.1 million tickets for their 2011 Progress Tour on the day of their release. Take That tickets are still available online for all 2011 live shows, including residencies at The City Of Manchester Stadium and London’s Wembley Stadium. The band will play a total of 29 UK shows, with Robbie Williams also confirmed to perform solo material throughout the tour.
