Jose Mourinho will attempt to lure two Manchester United stars in the summer. The Real Madrid boss is keen on landing Mexican international Javier Hernandez and Serbian centre back Nemanja Vidic as he looks to strengthen his Bernabeu side.
Mourinho has expressed concern over the lack of attacking options he has at Real and has had to turn to Karim Benzema with Gonzalo Higuain out injured with a herniated lumbar disc and this has led the Portuguese manager looking for a new striker and he has set his sights on Hernandez who he hopes to persuade to make the move to the La Liga giants.
The 22 year old has spent much of the season on the bench at Old Trafford but has been hugely impressive when used and has scored nine goals already and Sir Alex Ferguson will not be looking sell the talented young striker.
Jose Mourinho also wants to beef up his back line as he may well lose the services of contract rebel Pepe who has doggedly refused to sign a new deal due to there being quite a large distance between the club and the player in terms of wage terms. Given that the club’s other first choice centre back, Ricardo Carvalho, is 32 years of age, Jose wants to sign Nemanja Vidic.
Even though Vidic has only recently signed a new long term contract Real Madrid will make a bid for his services and hope that he will be tempted into forcing a move. Given that the Spanish side have previously brought in many players from Man United it will be interesting to see if they can once again raid Sir Alex Ferguson’s side to improve their side by signing the £40m rated pair.
