Natalie Portman won the award for Best Actress In A Motion Picture – Drama award at the 2011 Golden Globe ceremony.
American actress Natalie Portman enjoyed success at last night’s Golden Globe awards, by picking up the Best Actress In A Motion Picture – Drama prize for her role in the hit movie, Black Swan. Portman was widely expected to pick up the award, after receiving an enormous amount of praise for her performance in the film. The actress is reported to have gone through five to eight hours of dance training each day for six months in order to land the part.
Black Swan, in which Portman portrays a veteran Ballet dander, is due to begin showing in the UK from the 21st January at all major UK cinemas.
Directed by Darren Aronofsky, the film also stars Mila Kunis and Vincent Cassel.
