Stoke City have accepted Sunderland’s offer of £3m for Jamaican striker Ricardo Fuller. The 31 year old has been at the Britannia Stadium for four and a half years, during which time he netted 48 goals, and will presumably be brought in to fill the void left by the outgoing Darren Bent.
Fuller is perhaps a short term solution to the loss of their top-scorer to Aston Villa as Bruce may well be looking to bring in more attacking talent in the summer. The club have of course got Ghana international Asamoah Gyan and on loan Manchester United youngster Danny Wellbeck to call upon as they look to push for a top six finish.
