Anfield ranks proving difficult to boost.

Liverpool have been linked with a huge amount of players in this January transfer window.
The highest profile of those signings is Ajax and Uruguay forward Luis Suarez, but negotiations have stalled.
The Reds now have a deadline of Saturday to sort out the deal, but Kenny Dalglish is clearly getting frustrated with the lack of progress.
“The finance is there. Everything is in place but it’s difficult to get players out of other clubs at this time,” said the Liverpool manager.
“If we do not get anyone it is not for the want of trying.”
That last sentence sounds ominous.
If there are no players brought in to the Liverpool ranks, the squad will be weaker than it was prior to January, as Ryan Babel has left for Bundesliga side Hoffenheim.
With Dalglish in charge the performances have clearly improved, but the team would clearly be boosted by reinforcements.
Worrying times at Anfield, or is everything under control?
