LIVERPOOL, England (AP) — Liverpool says it has agreed to a deal with Ajax for Luis Suarez subject to the striker passing a medical examination.
The Premier League club said the transfer fee for the Uruguay international could be up to —26.5 million ($36 million).

So there you have it. After much deliberation and back and forth a deal has been struck that will see 23 year old Uruguayan international join Liverpool. The Ajax man has been a veritable goal machine at the Amsterdam Arena and it will be interesting to see just how easily he adapts to life in the Premier League. He has presumably been brought in to partner up with Fernando Torres although recent reports claim that the Spaniard may be on his way to Chelsea.
