Sky Sports News understands Tottenham striker Robbie Keane has undergone a medical ahead of his proposed move to West Ham.
The 30-year-old has made just seven Premier League appearances for the North London outfit after falling down the pecking order under manager Harry Redknapp.
It has been reported that the Republic of Ireland international is set to seal a loan move to Upton Park with a view to a permanent deal at the end of the season if Avram Grant’s side avoid the drop.
Redknapp has previously stated that he would only sanction a permanent exit for Keane, but could now be willing to alter his stance.
The White Hart Lane club accepted a £6million bid from Birmingham for Keane earlier this month, but the striker failed to agree terms with the Blues.

It’s a signing that couldn’t have come at a better time as West Ham will need all the help they can get to help fight off the threat of relegation and Robbie Keane’s abilities to score goals wherever he has gone could serve Avram Grant well over the next few crucial months.
The Upton Park side have a number of attacking options at the club but all those available to him struggle to hit patches of good form and a reliable marksman like the 30 year old Irish man who may well have a point to prove after failing to convince Harry Redknapp of his value to the North London side he has netted 122 goals for.
If the loan deal is successful the Hammers have first option to complete a permanent move thought to be priced in the region of £7m.
