Tottenham have sent Mexican forward Giovani Dos Santos on loan to Spanish outfit Racing Santander.
The 21-year-old has struggled to make an impact in England since completing a move from Barcelona in 2008.
He has made just 20 appearances for Spurs, scoring only once.
A lack of action has already seen him take in two loan spells away from White Hart Lane, one at Ipswich in 2009 and another at Galatasaray last term.
Having failed to force his way into Harry Redknapp’s plans again this season, it has been decided that he would be wise to take in another short-term stint somewhere else.
Giovani Dos Santos seems destined to only make it in the game once he quits Tottenham once and for all. After a number of false dawns and loan moves the Mexican international is no nearer to proving to Harry Redknapp his worth, despite a successful World Cup and some decent performances at the White Hart Lane club.
A move to La Liga may well suit the former Barcelona man best and after a successful stint at Racing Santander perhaps he can remind a Spanish club of the potential he showed when he was at the Nou Camp.
