Speculation is mounting that David Moyes could be on the brink of leaving Everton after bookmakers reported a flurry of bets on the Scot to be the next Premier League boss to leave his post.
A 2-1 loss at Arsenal left the Toffees toiling in the bottom half of the table, just four points above the relegation zone, and many feel Moyes has had enough of battling against a limited transfer budget.
Sky Bet’s Helen Jacob said: “Moyes has seen one of his key players, Stephen Pienaar, leave in the January transfer window and has been unable to bring in new personnel to strengthen his squad.
“He looks an increasingly frustrated man and today’s gamble suggests that he could be on the brink of ending his reign at Goodison Park.”

Here are the latest odds on the next Premier League manager to get the chop and David Moyes has indeed moved into second favourite behind West Ham boss Avram Grant.
To be honest it seems more likely that the Scot would resign than sack given how financially strained he is. As a manager there can’t be that many who have had to consistently work within such tight budgetary guidelines. We are talking about a boss who has sold played to the tune of £25m over the past 18 months and has only spent £6m of that on Johnny Heitinga.
