Manchester City face another fight to hold on to Carlos Tevez.
Tevez, who handed in a transfer request at Eastlands earlier this season, is expected to weigh up his future in the summer, despite publicly committing himself to the club recently following clear-the-air talks with boss Roberto Mancini.
Inter Milan coach Leonardo is desperate to land the forward who bagged a first-half hat-trick to seal City’s 3-0 win over West Brom yesterday.
Leonardo his expressed his wish to Inter president Massimo Moratti and the Italians are now setting aside £25m in transfer funds in a bid to land him and may allow a player to move in the opposite direction.

It seems highly unlikely that Manchester City will consider offers for Argentine striker Carlos Tevez and even less to do so for half the price that Chelsea paid for Fernando Torres. The 27 year old is in a rich run of form this season and has scored 22 goals from 28 starts and is crucial to Roberto Mancini and the Eastlands club and any Inter Milan bid will be given short shrift.
Having already once pushed for a move away from Man City, only to turn his back on the request, the former West Ham and Man United would surely not look to force the issue again and that may render any move from the reigning Champions League holders as pointless.
Again, a lot would also depend on which player Leonardo would consider using as part of any deal but again as that player is unlikely to be a big name star, a move to the Serie A side would at this stage appear highly unlikely.
