Arsenal stars Johan Djourou and Alex Song will return to the Gunners squad for the must-win game against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger admitted they will face fitness tests but midfielder Abou Diaby is out through suspension following his red card in last week’s 4-4 draw with Newcastle.
Song missed the Newcastle game with a thigh problem while Djourou went off in the second half with a bang to his knee.
“Johan will have a test today,” Wenger told Arsenal TV Online.
“We will have the answer at midday. He is likely to be fit. Alex Song will have a test too. He should be fit, he is 90 per cent there.
There is more good news for Gunners fans as Samir Nasri is back in training and will be ready in a week, while Denilson is also available for selection.
“Samir is continuing his progress. It is difficult to assess. He should be fit to be competitive in one week. He is training already,” Wenger added.
“Denilson is back and available. Nobody is injured coming back from international duty so overall the situation is quite good.”
Wenger also revealed Robin Van Persie and Cesc Fabregas have both recovered from the illness that kept them out of international action but Tomas Rosicky is out for tomorrow’s game.
