New Liverpool striker will make his first appearance at Anfield against arch-rivals Manchester United.
Liverpool striker Andy Carroll will make his debut for the club against Manchester United next month.
The 22-year-old signed for Liverpool on transfer deadline day last month for a British record £35million from Newcastle.
But he is yet to play for his new club because of a thigh injury which has meant he has not played at all in 2011.
Last week Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish dismissed reports his young striker would not play again this season and Carroll is now back in light training.
The England international is building up his fitness and has set a target of facing Manchester United at Anfield on March 6.
But with no football for the youngster for three months it is unlikely Dalglish will throw him into such a big match from the start to partner fellow new-signing Luis Suarez.
