French goalkeeper admits moving to Old Trafford would be a dream.
Lyon goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has revealed it is his dream to play for Manchester United.
United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, has drawn up a shortlist of potential replacements for the retiring Edwin Van Der Sar.
The France number one is thought to be on the list along with David De Gea, Maarten Stekelenburg and Pepe Reina.
Lloris has been linked with a move to the Premier League before, with Arsenal and Manchester City both keen admirers.
While the 24-year-old has admitted his interest in a move to Old Trafford he insists he is happy at the Ligue 1 side Lyon.
“Manchester United is a great football club,” Lloris told RMC. “They are one of the most successful clubs in the world, so, of course, Manchester is one of the clubs that make me dream.
“Moreover, it is unfortunate to lose a keeper like Van der Sar because even at 40 he is still able to do exceptional things. I also think he could keep playing.
“But for me, there is no question of leaving Lyon for the moment.”
