Sir Alex Ferguson is linked with a load of players today. Apparently he may be interested in signing Chelsea star Didier Drogba, Everton midfielder Jack Rodwell, Tottenham playmaker Luka Modric and Aston Villa winger Ashley Young. He is also wants Alexis Sanchez and will not give Owen Hargreaves a new contract, can’t blame him for that though as the England man is never ever fit.
Michael Owen, Jonny Evans, Danny Welbeck, Darron Gibson, Gabriel Obertan and Bebe will leave Old Trafford to make way for new signings apparently. The Red Devils manager looks like having a busy summer!
Carlo Ancelotti has angered Drogba, hence his supposed desire to leave Stamford Bridge. The Blues boss wants Brazilian youngster Ganso but won’t sell Daniel Sturridge. Yuri Zhirkov, Jose Bosingwa, Florent Malouda may be on their way out and some sources even suggest that John Terry and Frank Lampard may be axed but after Chelsea’s win over Man United things don’t look quite so bad at the West London club.
Arsenal are planning a raid for a Barcelona B player and apparently Juventus not only want Denilson they are also interested in Emmanuel Eboue, Robin Van Persie and Bacary Sagna! Cesc Fabregas and Thomas Vermaelen continue to be injury concerns as does Theo Walcott.
Arsene Wenger continues to chase Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and is also after Montpellier defender Mapou Yanga-M’Biwa and Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina.
Liverpool continue to be linked with Moussa Sissoko and also want Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez and may look to use Christian Poulsen to help land the Chilean. Anfield boss Kenny Dalglish is also after Jose Enrique to help resolve the club’s left back issues as Paul Konchesky and Emiliano Insua head for the exit. Martin Kelly will be out for a month and Andy Carroll may well make his debut against Man United on the weekend.
If Newcastle United lose Spanish left back Enrique then they will apparently look to land Roma wide man John Arne Riise and Alan Pardew is hoping to keep Joey Barton, Jonas Gutierrez and Celtic want to sign St James’ Park keeper Fraser Forster who is on loan at Parkhead. Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor is wanted by a number of clubs and Roberto Mancini believes that Mario Balotelli has something of an attitude problem, who knew!
