Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists winning the Premier League is the club’s priority this season as the treble dream lives on.
Last night’s 5-0 victory over Leyton Orient means the Gunners now travel to Manchester United in the last eight of the FA Cup.
Arsenal also head to Barcelona 2-1 up after the first leg in the Champions League and lie second in the league, four points behind United, but with a game in hand.
Despite an historic treble being a possibility it is the Premier League Wenger wants above all others.
“The league is a vital race. For us, the most important,” he said.
“It will be interesting until the end of the season. Every game now is a cup game.
“We had one tonight, and will have one on Saturday [against Sunderland in the Premier League].”
Wenger was also pleased by the way his team bounced back from last Sunday’s 2-1 Carling Cup final defeat to Birmingham City.
“It was a good response, we took the game in a serious way,” he added. “It was good to win the game.
“We are in a fantastic run. On Sunday, we lost a game in special circumstances.”
