Arsenal and Tottenham are ready to battle for the services of Lorient’s Kevin Gameiro after the Ligue 1 club admitted he may have to be sold.
The 23-year-old has been in excllent form scoring 32 goals in his last 58 appearances attracting interest from a string of European clubs.
Lorient have managed to keep hold of their star striker but the President of the club, Loic Fery, admits they will need to cash in on him in the summer.
“It is true that we are mulling over three options,” Fery said to L’Equipe.
“We can let him go when his contract expires, sell him in the summer or renew his contract.
“But the latter is complicated because we have made several incredible efforts and he has not accepted.”
