AC Milan will attempt to lure Tottenham youngster Sandro to the San Siro after seeing first hand just what the young Brazilian is capable of. The 21 year old defensive midfielder put in two superb displays against the Italian side in their Champions League encounters and now Massimiliano Allegri will reportedly attempt to bring in the former Internacional man as a long term replacement for veteran Gennaro Gattuso.
The Italian side were apparently one of a number of sides who were keen on signing the tigerish performer before he opted to move to White Hart Lane and now the table topping Serie A side are planning to make a move for the starlet this summer.
It seems highly unlikely that Harry Redknapp would even contemplate selling Sandro but AC Milan may feel there chances of tempting him to leave would increase significantly if the North London side failed to cement a place in the top four come the end of the season.
AC Milan are reportedly ready to offer up to £20m for the Brazilian international but as with advances from other European giants for the likes of Rafael Van der Vaart, Luka Modric and Gareth Bale, Redknapp will steadfastly repel advances and Massimiliano Allegri’s only real hope of a successful pursuit would come if Sandro himself pushed for an exit.
