Real Madrid striker Emmanuel Adebayor wants to make his loan move to the Bernabeu a permanent move.
The former Togo international has no intention of returning to Manchester City this summer.
The 27-year-old joined City in the summer of 2009 for £25million but has fallen out of favour since Roberto Mancini took over.
Adebayor has seen Mario Balotelli and Edin Dzeko join the club, pushing himself down the pecking order, while he has been given few chances to impress.
The former Arsenal player joined Jose Mourinho’s side in January and has impressed so far in Spain.
He has enjoyed playing in Madrid so much he does not want to return to Manchester.
“I was born happy. No one can be as happy as I am now,” he told AS. “Playing here is a dream come true and I now feel useful again.
“There is a great vibe in the dressing room. Everyone has been very nice. I try to repay their kindness by training as hard as I can and giving my all.
“I will do everything I can to stay here. All I want to do is win titles. La Liga is not over yet and anything can happen in the 90 minutes of the Copa del Rey final.”
