Ipswich have brought former star Kieron Dyer back to the club on loan from West Ham.
Dyer, who started his career at Portman Road, has signed a month-long loan deal with the Championship outfit.
The 32-year-old has endured a miserable time with a series of injury problems in the last few years and has made only 17 starts for West Ham since arriving from Newcastle in the summer of 2007.
Dyer has made 13 appearances for the Hammers this season, but he is well down the pecking order in Avram Grant’s plans. (Sky Sports)
Kieron Dyer has had some serious injury nightmares during his time at West Ham, so much so that that the former England international has made just 15 Premier League starts in three and a half years at Upton Park. A move back to Ipswich Town may well be an intelligent one and perhaps this loan move will turn permanent in the summer as Tractor Boys boss Paul Jewell seeks to improve his Portman Road squad.
