Newcastle United have not received, or want, any bids for the club according to managing director Derek Llambias.
The Magpies have been linked with many takeovers since owner Mike Ashley put the club on the market in 2008.
But the Londoner has since said the North-East side are not for sale since regaining Premier League status.
Reports at the weekend suggested an Indian consortium had been shown around the club and were ready to invest.
But Llambias has dismissed the rumours and insists the club are not for sale.
“No-one has visited the club,” he told the Daily Express.
“There has been no approach from any Indian consortium or businessman and Newcastle United are not looking for one.”
