Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne could be heading for the exit after another bust-up with manager Gerard Houllier’s backroom staff.
The Daily Mail reports the 31-year-old will discover his fate today following an alcohol fuelled argument with the coaching team on a team-bonding trip.
Tempers flared at a meal during a two-day trip to Champneys Springs, Leicestershire.
Houllier allowed his squad a free bar, but events soon got out of hand as Dunne and the coaching staff disagreed over tactics.
Dunne was dropped from the side earlier in the season after an argument with assistant manager Gary McAllister on the training ground, but the Irishman later apologised.
If Dunne is shown the exit he will not be short of offers with Celtic, Bolton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion all interested in the experienced centre-back.
