The Beady Eye front-man does not see the New York group as a threat.
Beady Eye front-man Liam Gallagher has stated that he does not see New York group The Strokes as a threat.
The Strokes will be headlining the Main Stage of Reading and Leeds Festival this August, whilst Beady Eye will be taking to the smaller NME/Radio 1 stage at the same event, at the same time.
Speaking to NME, the singer said, “We weren’t f***ing scared of them the first time we heard them. We’re not f***ing scared of them now!”
Beady Eye tickets are available for the band’s April UK tour, as well as their Reading and Leeds appearances.
