Emirates star will be fit for Danish Euro 2012 qualifier this weekend.
Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner will play in Denmark’s Euro 2012 qualifier with Norway this weekend as tests show his injury is not as bad as first feared.
The 23-year-old only sprained his ankle in a training session with his national squad and is set to feature against their Scandinavian rivals.
It was initially feared Bendtner would miss a substantial chunk of the remaining two months of the season.
Arsenal physio Colin Lewin is in regular contact with the Danish medical team over the seriousness of the problem but the scans allayed all their fears.
The news will be a boost for manager Arsene Wenger, who without Bendtner, would only have Robin van Persie and Marouane Chamakh as his only recognised forwards.
Wenger will need all his players fit if the Gunners are to win the the Premier League trophy for the first time in seven years.
