South Africa need to shake their ‘chokers’ tag and a fine display against the dangerous Kiwis will give them confidence.
The Proteas only lost to England in the group stage. They have strong batting and bowling units and will hope they both put in strong performances.
The Kiwis had mixed forturnes in Group A, thumping Kenya, Zimbabwe and Pakistan but losing to Australia and Sri Lanka.
The bowling will depend on the fitness of Vettori and Mills, while their big hitting artillery of Oram, Styris and Franklin will pose a threat.
