Bernabeu tiro will miss Champions League visit of White Hart Lane club.
Real Madrid will be without star trio Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Marcelo when they face Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League first-leg.
The two teams will clash at the Bernabeu on Tuesday with both sides eager to gain an advantage before the second leg at White Hart Lane.
Ronaldo has been struggling with a thigh injury causing him to miss Portrugal’s recent international matches.
Benzema also has a thigh niggle he picked up while playing for France in the goalless draw with Croatia.
Left-back Marcelo picked up a rib injury while training with his Brazil team-mates ahead of his nations friendly with Scotland.
Manager Jose Mourinho confirmed all three are a major doubt and will not be back until next weekend’s La Liga tie with Atletico Bilbao.
“Medical staff have told me that Ronaldo, Marcelo and [Karim] Benzema can only play in Bilbao,” Mourinho said.
The news is a massive boost for Spurs, who have their own injury concerns with garteh Bale a major doubt.
