White Hart Lane star confesses he has no worries about moving to play at the Bernabeu or San Siro.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gareth Bale admits he has no concerns about leaving the club for a move abroad.
The 21-year-old has attracted a lot of attention for his performances this season, most notably his hat-trick against Inter Milan at the San Siro.
He has been linked with mega-money moves to Milan, Barcelona and tomorrow night’s Champions League quarter-final opponents, Real Madrid.
But the Welsh international says he does not pay attention to the speculation and is not scared of leaving these shores to play his football.
“You never know [what will happen] but I have no fear about leaving the country,” he told AS.
“If there is a great opportunity then that has to be considered seriously.
“I left home when I was 15. If I leave the Premier League, learn another language and see another country then I will grow as a person.”
“I try not to think about it, my team-mates joke a lot about it,” he added.
“I am playing the best football of my career with Tottenham.
“It just seems like they are talking about someone else when people are talking about how much I would cost and who would sign me.”
