San Siro side ready to offer Dutch playmaker for Old Trafford winger.
Inter Milan are insisting Nani be included in any offer from Manchester United for Wesley Sneijder.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson wants to bring the Dutchman to Old Trafford as a replacement for veteran midfielder Paul Scholes.
Sneijder is aware of developments and open to a move to United.
Globoesporte says Inter are open to doing business – if United include star winger Nani in a swap for Sneijder.
Regardless of how well Nani has performed this season, and the Portuguese international is the leading assist maker in the Premier League this term, an offer that would see Dutchman Wesley Sneijder moving to Old Trafford would surely tempt Sir Alex Ferguson, not least as the Scot is actively looking for a long term replacement for veteran Paul Scholes.
26 year old Sneijder has been on Ferguson’s radar for some time and was reportedly close to a move to the Premier League table toppers before he opted for an Inter Milan move instead. New Inter Milan boss Leonardo appears to be very keen on Nani but would he really offer such a pivotal player in a swap deal?
Manchester United could well do with a goalscoring midfielder as the likes of Darren Fletcher, Anderson and Michael Carrick do not weigh in with a great deal in that regard and Paul Scholes himself has been a far less attacking player in recent years.
£35m rated Nani may be interested in a move to Italy and has in recent weeks discussed the fact that his trickery is in some way being blunted by Sir Alex Ferguson’s insistence on the 24 year old acting as more of a team player and given his assist return this season that would appear to be working pretty damn well.
