On-loan Emirates teenager is wanted for another year at the Feijenoord Stadion.
Feyenoord are desperate to keep hold of on-loan Arsenal teen-sensation Ryo Miyaichi for another season according to the director of football Martin van Geel.
The 18-year-old has been a revelation in Rotterdam since moving from the Gunners in January and has established himself in the Eredivisie side.
The Japan U19 international went on-loan because he was unable to secure a UK work permit because of his lack of senior international appearances.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has already stated he will monitor Miyaichi in pre-season and will assess what his best for the teenager’s progress.
Wenger has hinted Miyaichi could have a role to play at the Emirates next season if he impresses over the summer, having already earned plaudits in Holland.
But Van Geel wants the youngster to ply his trade in Holland for another campaign as he continues his development.
“We would love to have him here on loan for a year,” Van Geel told Voetbal International.
“Arsenal know we are good for him. Now we can only wait for their answer.”
