Emirates boss need look no further for his shopping list.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has promised to be very active this summer and for many Gunners its about bloody time.
Another trophy-less year for the red half of North London has put the most pressure on Wenger he has ever had and his dealings this summer could prove vital.
But the Frenchman has said an overhaul is not required and, to take Arsenal from their current standing of good team to a great team, only a few signings are required.
Arsenal were on course for an unprecedented quadruple only a few months ago so cannot be going too far wrong.
They just ran out of steam but two or three quality signings could be enough to see them go all the way.
Once the dead wood (Denilson, Manuel Almunia) is removed and a few more pushed out (Nicklas Bendtner, A Andrei Arshavin) Arsenal will have a sizeable budget and more wages to spend.
Much of the transfer activity will depend on whether Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri can be convinced their immediate futures remain at the Emirates.
If both men go, or even one, do not be surprised to see Robin van Persie drop off into the ‘hole’ behind the striker.
He played that role several times during the season but without him leading from the front Arsenal look short on goalscorers.
Wenger will be looking for a 20-goal a season striker that will complement his other attacking options and most importantly be in the box to finish off another scintillating move.
Here are our contenders:
Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)
Wenger has admitted he likes Benzema and it is clear he is an Arsenal style player. He would love to work with the Gunners boss and Madrid may be convinced to sell if they buy another striker this summer.
