Elland Road hero set for move to Carrow Road.
Norwich City are on the verge of signing their second player of the summer by agreeing a deal to take Leeds United midfielder Bradley Johnson.
The 24-year-old is available on a Bosman free after his contract expired this month and will join up with the Premier League new boys this week.
The London-born footballer made 45 Championship appearances, scoring five goals and creating four assists, for The Whites last season as their play-off push fell just short.
Johnson will sign a three-and-a-half year contract with manager Paul Lambert’s side according to Sky Sports.
He was also attracting interest from West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland but preferred a move to the Canaries.
The former Northampton man is the second signing for Lambert after capturing James Vaughan from Everton, while Millwall’s Steve Morrison is also set to join.
Lambert is looking to strengthen the squad he has managed to take from League One to the Premier league in just two seasons after finishing second in the Championship table behind Queen’s Park Rangers.
