Anfield hero wants another comeback.
Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler admits he would love to return to the club in the future – as a coach.
The 36-year-old is currently taking his UEFA coaching badges and would love the opportunity to pass on his knowledge to the next generation of stars at Anfield.
Fowler has now returned to England following two years playing football in Australia with North Queensland Fury and Perth Glory.
He has had successful spells on the coaching staff at MK Dons and Bury since coming back to this country.
Fowler confesses that a return to Liverpool in some capacity is his dream as he takes his first steps into coaching.
“If I’m being honest I would love to (come back to Liverpool one day) but it’s not really my choice!” Fowler told Al Jazeera Sport.
“If I could walk there tomorrow I would but it’s not the ideal world as we all know.
“Eventually that is obviously the aim to try get and get back there and be a part of that club again because I was there since I was 11 and it’s a big part of my life.”
