Stade Lille-Metropole star will not be heading to the Emirates or Anfield.
Lille midfielder Eden Hazard will not be leaving France this summer putting an end to Arsenal and Liverpool’s hopes of signing him.
The 20-year-old has attracted attention of all the top European clubs with some impressive performances helping his team end their 46-year wait for the Ligue 1 title.
French rivals Paris St Germain are the latest club to enquire after his services with their new Qatari owners ready to bankroll a move for the Belgian international.
Hazard scored seven goals in 37 games for Lille last season and contributed eight assists and Lille general manager Frederic Paquet is confident Hazard will lead his team into the Champions League.
But despite the player publicly entertaining the interest of some of his suitors, Lille are determined to hold onto Hazard, who they value at £24million.
“Eden is not for sale,” Paquet told RMC. “He will not be leaving this summer, whether to Paris or anywhere else.
“The president has been very clear about this. He will be with us next season.”
