Hawthorns chiefs are very pleased with themselves.
West Bromwich Albion have announced the largest sponsorship deal in their history after agreeing a shirt and betting agreement with Bodog.
The Midlands club have signed a two-year agreement with the online gaming brand, starting from July 1.
Bodog, one of the largest online gambling website, will advertise on the shirt and have additional publicity all around the Hawthorns.
Bodog Europe will also become the club’s official betting partner, providing Albion fans with a huge online gaming platform
Albion Chief Executive Mark Jenkins welcomed the club’s new sponsors.
“Following our most successful Barclays Premier League campaign there was a great deal of interest in becoming our club sponsor,” said Jenkins.
“We had a number of options and in the end Bodog presented an all-round partnership that best suits both parties.
“We look forward to helping them promote their brand in the Premier League.”
Meanwhile West Brom goalkeeper Scott Carson has agreed a move to Turkish side Bursaspor for £1.5million.
The England international has only one-year left on his current deal and admits to looking forward to the move.
“I am really surprised how big this club is,” the 25-year-old told the Turkish media.
“The facilities are as good as I’ve been used to anywhere and I’m really excited. It’s a new challenge and I’m joining a brilliant club which has a family atmosphere.
“It’s been a bit overwhelming, I couldn’t believe how many photographers and cameramen turned up.
“I’m just looking forward to a new start now.”
