Etihad Stadium star pines for a return to Italy.
Manchester City striker has thrown his future in England in doubt by claiming he does not like Manchester and wants to return to Italy.
The 20-year-old has attracted controversy everywhere he has gone since making a £24million move from Inter Milan one-year ago.
Despite his often petulant attitude, manager Roberto Mancini, has largely kept faith with him but has criticised him for being sent-off and substituted him last week for wasting a one-on-one chance against LA Galaxy.
The Italy international returned to the team and scored in the 3-0 win over Inter Milan in Dublin on Sunday.
Although he admits to being unhappy in Manchester, he dismissed speculation he could be heading to AC Milan but he does miss his homeland.
“I feel terrible in Manchester, I don’t like the city,” Balotelli told Sky Italia.
“Of course everything is fine with my team-mates and the coach but the city isn’t to my taste.
“The only thing I can do is stay at home with my family and friends.
“My home town is Brescia, not Milan. Of course Milan are a great club and one day we could talk about (a move there),” he said.
“We’ll see, for now I’m tied to Manchester but then we’ll see.”
