Emirates want French international.
Arsenal will make a £15million offer for Sochaux midfielder Marvin Martin this week as a replacement for Barcelona-bound Cesc Fabregas.
The 23-year-old has impressed Gunners boss Arsene Wenger with a number of classy displays, including three goals and 19 assists, in Ligue 1 last season.
The France international has also been the star of the national team, with manager Laurent Blanc likening him to Zinedine Zidane.
Arsenal are said to have already made an informal approach to Sochaux about France midfielder Martin but the French side’s president Alexandre Lacombe has no interest in selling Martin.
But the playmaker has indicated he is keen to move to a bigger club to play Champions League football and a sizeable offer may persuade Sochaux to rethink their stance.
Wenger will make his move with captain Fabregas poised to join the Spanish and European champions in a £35million switch.
Arsenal are also interested in Marseille winger Ayew, who could come in as a replacement for Samir Nasri if and when the Frenchman joins Manchester City in a £23million deal next week.
The Ghana international has an £11.5million release clause in his Marseille contract – a figure that is unlikely to deter the Gunners.
