White Hart Lane boss keen on Emirates Stadium defender.
TOTTENHAM boss Harry Redknapp is plotting a sensational swoop for Arsenal full-back Bacary Sagna.
And it is believed Sagna would be prepared to make the move to the Gunners bitter north London rivals.
Redknapp is keen to sign a top-notch right back despite the emergence of England Under-21 star Kyle Walker.
And after making an audacious swoop for Arsenals William Gallas last summer, he wants to repeat the trick with Sagna one of the Premier Leagues top right-backs.
Sagna is one of several senior players disillusioned with the impending departures of Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri as well as the clubs six-year silverware drought.

This really does sound highly unlikely. Whilst there is no denying that all is not well at Arsenal there seems little chance that Bacary Sagna would consider leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer, not least there appears to be no reason whatsoever why he would join Tottenham, especially as Harry Redknapp’s side do not have Champions League football to offer.
There is also an argument that Redknapp doesn’t need another right back as he currently has Kyle Walker, who has looked good in pre-season, and the likes of Vedran Corluka and Alan Hutton to call upon. Indeed the White Hart Lane side would do well to resolve other problem areas, such as their strike force, before making this move.
Bacary Sagna has been a virtual ever present at Arsenal over the past four seasons and is considered one of the best right backs in Europe and has amassed over 170 appearances for the Gunners since his arrival from Auxerre in July 2007.
Wenger did bring in back up in the form of Carl Jenkinson but will not be considering offers for Sagna, especially from the club’s local rivals.
The Arsenal boss will be hoping that he can prevent Cesc Fabregas or Samir Nasri from leaving the club this summer but seems unlikely to prevent their exits to Barcelona and Man City respectively. The club already lost Gael Clichy to Man City but do have a ready made replacement in Kieran Gibbs.
