Costa Rican international on his way to Craven Cottage.
Sky Sports sources understand Fulham have agreed a £10.6million deal to sign FC Twente winger Bryan Ruiz.
The Costa Rica star was watched by Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp earlier in the summer, but Craven Cottage counterpart Martin Jol has decided to push ahead with a move.
Jol has made no secret of his desire to add to the attacking and creative options in his squad, especially with reports Clint Dempsey could join Paris St Germain or Sevilla.
Ruiz has been identified as the man the Dutch Fulham boss wants and a fee has been agreed with Eredivisie outfit.

Clearly Martin Jol knows his stuff when it comes to the Dutch Eredivisie, helping Ajax to the domestic title last term, albeit he was in charge for only half the season before he was axed. FC Twente attacker Bryan Ruiz has been a huge hit in Holland since his move from Gent in 2009.
The 26 year old Costa Rican is an adaptable player who works best out on the wing but can play in the hole behind the strikers and has an eye for goal, as evidenced by the fact that he finished top scorer in Holland the season before last, when he helped Twente to their first ever title.
Fulham have struggled for goals thus far this season, netting just one goal from their opening three fixtures, hence Jol’s keenness to snap up Ruiz.
