Welshman on his way back to Anfield.
Liverpool have confirmed the signing of former player Craig Bellamy as the Man City man agrees a contract and completes his much anticipated move to Merseyside.
The Welshman had been told he had no future at the Etihad Stadium and had spent last term on loan to his hometown club Cardiff City and was reportedly approached by a number of sides during the transfer window but moves to Anfield to help offer Kenny Dalglish more attacking options.
In his previous spell at Liverpool, Bellamy helped the club to a Champions League final berth and the 32 year old will be ideal experienced back up for first choice strike pairing Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll. The fact that the former Newcastle United, West Ham and Blackburn Rovers man can ply his trade out on the wings will also be of great use to the club.
