Exciting young talent to arrive at Old Trafford.
Manchester United scouts are set to cast their eyes over two Croatian teenage starlets, and will have them watched this weekend.
United representatives will be in attendance at the Stadion Poljud in Split when Mateo Kovacic and Mario Situm line up for Dinamo Zagreb against Hajduk Split.
Reds scouts were alerted to the 17-year-old midfielder Kovacic and 19-year-old striker Situm recently, but United will be among several big clubs represented at the game.
Kovacic has been likened to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi back in Croatia, and reports claim he will be out of contract in the summer.
It is thought that a number of big European clubs, including Arsenal, are also interested in the duo.
Though he shows little sign he is preparing to slow down, Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is certainly building quite a team.
In young stars such as David de Gea, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Fabio, Rafael, Tom Cleverley and Javier Hernandez, Man Utd have signed some of the most exciting young players in world football at present.
Perhaps Kovacic and Situm will soon be added to that list, with 17 year-old Kovacic thought to be the better prospect.
