Neven Subotic knows side must improve against Arsenal.
Borussia Dortmund defender Neven Subotic says his side will have a hugely tough task to beat Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.
The German champions laboured to a 2-1 Bundesliga defeat against newly promoted Hertha Berlin at the weekend, which is far more shocking than Arsenal’s so-called crisis.
“Our performance against Hertha wasn’t good enough against Bundesliga opposition and certainly not against a team in the Champions League,” said 22-year-old centre back Subotic.
“It is often the case that we will have more opportunities to attack if the opponent is willing to play football, but the Champions League is a first for many of us.
“This is an entirely different level compared to the Bundesliga and we’ll see where we stand.”
